I seem to get SAD (which is Seasonal Affective Disorder, but it's also feeling sad lol) every year, and this winter was no exception. However, life is much different and the stress level has been higher--between me going back to work, and Daryl working a lower paying job (which I AM thankful for that he had a job period), and other life events.
So, with the sun shining and warmer temps the last few days I'm starting to feel better. I was thinking today about how usually spring in ND doesn't really come until late April, and this year we actually seem to be starting spring on the actual vernal equinox. I do have a feeling that with all the fog we've had the last 3 months, we might be in for a long rainy period soon though.

Mom of the Year Award
Out of the blue tonite Jimmy comes and sits by me and beckons me to come to see something. So I follow and hung on the fridge is a note. He asks me to help him pack. He cries. Daddy comes and asks whats wrong. Jimmy goes to write another note.
I know I'm not a mean mommy nor do I deny him everything (if anything I've been accused of being too permissive). But nothing like feeling an inch tall through your child's eyes.
