I have had THE day from h - e - double hockey sticks.
My morning began at 4:15 a.m. when my alarm went off. I headed off to the gym for my personal training session. I love my trainer, she pushes me to do way more than I would make myself do. And at about 25 minutes out of the 30 minute session I felt nauseous. Great workout! lol Daryl was nice enough to take the kids to school today so I showered at the gym and figured I'd head to work early.
I stopped to grab some food and drink at the convenience store and upon heading out again I hit snow/ice while coming to a stoplight and couldn't stop. Bam! Great, just great. Got out, looked, and couldn't believe there was no visible damage. So the other owner and I exchanged insurance info and went on our ways.
Now, thankfully my third day at the new job went just fine. I'm really enjoying the workplace, coworkers are friendly and helpful, and the hours are flexible. Being I cut my last two lunches short and came in early today, I left at 3:30. I figured I'd stop and get my allergy shots. But after I'd pulled up, got out and walked half way to the building I remembered that they don't give allergy shots on Wednesday afternoons. So much for that. I grabbed a Starbucks, I figured I deserved some comfort food after the yucky day.
Went to get the kids and came home. By now I had a blasting headache. My goal was to get dinner made and then relax. While pulling a mixing bowl out to make up some homemade mac & cheese I dropped the bowl and it shattered, and somehow managed to wedge between the counter and dishwasher door. Approximately an hour later I noticed my foot felt odd, and I looked to see blood all over. Apparently part of the glass cut me and I didn't realize it. To add into the foot issues, I checked the shoes I wore today cuz I could tell something didn't fit right. The gel insoles leaked. Now I have goo all over the inside of my right shoe heel.
So, now that my husband is finally home, I think I'm going to head to bed and hope that stops the bad karma of today. Good night world!
